The NK Musical Boosters Association (NKMBA) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 2019 by a group of parent volunteers whose mission is to provide support for the North Kingstown High School performing arts programs including band, orchestra, choir, and theatre. We focus on fostering excellence in the arts by providing financial, volunteer, and community support to enrich student experiences, develop skills, and promote arts advocacy beyond the school’s allocated budget. Examples of funding support includes student scholarships, arts-based field trips, and the enhancement of performance space and equipment for students.

The NKMBA is governed by an all-volunteer Executive Committee consisting of President, Vice-President, Treasurer and Secretary.

Membership in the NKMBA will be granted to every parent or legal guardian of a student enrolled in Band, Choir, Orchestra or a Theatre Production upon request. Alumni parent members and graduated students are welcome to participate in a volunteer or advisory capacity.
